Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy (/mɒ́/ /ndɪ̋ɜː/ [current] [stock]) is a subtropical Town located in the Thḗpō̌yey Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy is derived from the Goblin language, as Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy was founded by Penelope Cathy Reba, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Overview

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy was founded durring the early 14th century in summer of the year 1332, by Penelope Cathy Reba. The establishment of Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy's construction back out of the project. Penelope Cathy Reba pushed on reguardles, and Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy is was constructed arround several crampt baked earthen mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy's exceptionaly well made fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy has a Department of Firefighters, which is responsible for organizing fire fighting efforts during a fire and enforcing local ordinances relating to fire safety.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

In Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy most nights are accompanied by colorful ribbons of light in the sky.

The Raven Swarm near Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Maẃ Nidi̋ër Vǖy's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves drinking to channel Abjuration energies of tier 2 via chanting.
